Overview
The BTEC National Level 3 Extended Certificate Diploma in Business qualification is aimed at learners preparing for future roles in the Business such as higher level apprenticeships or progression to an Business degree course. It has been designed as part of a two year programme of study and is normally taken in conjunction with two or more qualifications at level 3. The qualification gives learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the business sector that will prepare them for further study or training. This includes the opportunity for learners to choose one unit from a selection of options to supplement the mandatory units which reflect the key topics in business: marketing, business environments, management, recruitment and finance.
