Aspirational Destinations – 2022 A-Level Results
The JCB Academy Sixth Form has once again enabled students to go on and pursue a wide range of fantastic careers options through university and degree apprenticeships.
Mrs McGuirk, Principal of The JCB Academy, said:
“Many congratulations to all of the students celebrating their results, we are immensely proud that all their tremendous effort has paid off and they have achieved fantastic results which propel them onto the next stage of their lives. A huge thank you to our talented and inspirational Sixth Form staff for the support and encouragement they have given all of our students. Results day at The JCB Academy was packed full of students enjoying the thrill of success and the realisation for many that they are able to fulfil their ambition of attaining a degree apprenticeship or on their chosen course at a prestigious university.
This year, we will break all records relating to the number of degree apprenticeships. It is a particularly special year for young women, with a record number about to embark on a business or engineering higher and degree level apprenticeships with our employer partners.
On behalf of the entire JCB Academy community, I wish our students all the very best for the future.’’
The JCB Academy Sixth Form in Rocester, Staffordshire offers vocational pathways in Engineering and Business and a selected range of traditional A-levels. It invites applications from students across Staffordshire and Derbyshire with external students equating to approximately 35% of the overall intake.
Director of The JCB Academy Sixth Form, Mr Stanmore, said: “Today our students have received yet another set of amazing results. Over 80% of grades awarded on our business and engineering courses were A*/A grades or equivalent, a remarkable achievement and significantly above the national average. Our students have secured remarkable destinations and I have little doubt that many will go on to do extraordinary things!”
