Isabel joined the academy in 2014 continuing her education in our sixth form studying A-levels in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with an AS Level in Further Mathematics. Isabel went on to do a Manufacturing Management Degree Apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce and as part of her apprenticeship, studies part-time for a Master’s degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick.
“Going to The JCB Academy was a life changing decision for me as it opened my eyes to the amazing opportunities that apprenticeships offer. My previous school would have pushed me into university, but I’m glad that the academy encourages all post-school pathways, as they supported me in finding the route that suited me best. I wanted to get out into the world and start working on real projects while learning and studying, and my apprenticeship gives me that opportunity every day.”
