Patrick joined The JCB Academy in 2013 and continued his education into The JCB Academy Sixth Form, studying a diploma in engineering and A-levels in mathematics and physics. Patrick, from Stone in Staffordshire, is now a Level 4, Higher Apprentice at JCB, working in the Hydraulic Business Unit.
Patrick said; “Moving to The JCB Academy was the best choice I made, it gave me the foundation I needed at the start of my engineering education. Continuing into the sixth form also added to this but it also gave me great opportunities with employers. Being able to put The JCB Academy Sixth Form on your CV shows potential employers that you are passionate about your career in engineering and/or business.”
