Today we awoke to rain which has continued all day off and on. At the school we coloured, sang and played games with the pupils who are now getting used to having us there.
Unfortunately the rain has stopped us from progressing our building project and so we went back to the hotel to prepare more resources for tomorrow’s lessons. We really wish we had a photocopier! We have drawn vehicles to colour, cut out people chains, made some simple writing frames and in preparation for next week we have started to make elephant masks for a parade.
After a lovely Sri Lankan lunch and with a break in the rain the students also managed a dip in the pool.
