Today we have visited the pink city of Jaipur before travelling back to Delhi. Jaipur is a city full of history and interesting stories of the Maharajah’s over the years.
We also visited a Lady Bamford Charitable Trust Foundation Project called Nila House. This project is focused on promoting artisan crafts and in particular the use of the indigo plant as a natural dye. We saw hand weaving, tried dyeing cloth and looked around the impressive building that was restored by the trust after being left derelict.
