National Apprenticeship Week

The week is designed to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships for both individuals and employers, and to encourage more people to consider an apprenticeship as a viable career option.

Intermediate Level Apprenticeships
These are entry-level apprenticeships, suitable for those who have completed their GCSEs or equivalent.

Advanced Level Apprenticeships
Advanced apprenticeships are equivalent to two A level passes. To be considered for an Advanced apprenticeship, you’ll need to have completed an Intermediate apprenticeship or passed five GCSEs.

Higher Apprenticeships
Higher-level apprenticeships aimed at individuals who have completed advanced apprenticeships or have suitable A levels qualifications. They offer the opportunity to study at a higher education level and can lead to a foundation degree or higher.

Degree Apprenticeships
These are apprenticeships at a degree level and are designed to provide individuals with the opportunity to work and study for a bachelor’s or master’s degree at the same time.
