Homeward bound! After saying goodbye to all at the hotel, we headed back to Colombo for a quick sightseeing tour of the Independence Memorial and then onto lunch. We visited the Projects Abroad Office to say our farewells before some last minute shopping then heading to the airport.
I have no doubt that all the students will come back having enjoyed different parts of the trip but I can safely say that they have all made a difference to the communities we have worked in and most importantly they have made lifetime memories.
