Today was our last day at the Hasegawa Pre-School and we had a party with the children. It was interesting for Mr Stanmore and Dr Jones to set out 90 plates of goodies in the sweltering heat.
After an emotional goodbye we then went off to Galle which is an old fort with a town in the middle. After a wander around the streets we found ourselves at the beach for a cooling dip in the water.
The day ended with the hotel putting on a BBQ on the rooftop of the hotel and they made some of our favourite foods from our stay here in Matugama.
I think I can safely say the trip has been a success and all the students have enjoyed themselves.
