Back to work this morning in the pouring rain. We were preparing elephant masks with the pupils at the school for a parade we have planned for them tomorrow. We also had a visit from the Country Director for Projects Abroad in Sri Lanka called Gishan.
After lunch we went to the school where we’d helped build the toilet. We were thanked for our work and the teachers and parents had made some sweet treats for us.
It was then off to a sea turtle conservation and research centre. The students enjoyed handling the baby turtles and they were given the opportunity to release some turtles into the sea. It was a great end to another action packed day.
