Our day started spotting monkeys in the trees across from the hotel before breakfast. We then went to a wood carving factory where we were given a tour and shown different woods and techniques. Then it was onto Helgas Folly which is a hotel based on Alice in Wonderland. It was fascinating and also creepy.
We then went to the Temple of the Tooth. A very peaceful place full of Sri Lankan people worshipping.
After a lovely lunch in the building which was the home to the last Governor of Kandy we headed for a Batik factory where we were shown through the process and given the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
We finished a fun filled packed day off in Pizza Hut!
